Children’s excitement about the holiday season can be a source of great joy for people everywhere, which is why we’re bringing back a viral video from 2020 in which a toddler showed ‘pure’ amazement at seeing Christmas decorations. Christina Helvey shared a video of her 1-year-old daughter Violet, who couldn’t hold in her excitement when the family went for a drive around to see the lights in the neighborhood, leaning out the window and looking everywhere. The video shows how, as they drove, Violet looked around in awe of the display, continually making a shocked face with her mouth open and her eyes wide. Her gaze darted back and forth to see everything, and it was absolutely adorable. Back in December 2020, Helvey shared the short video on social media, captioning it, “This was just too pure to stay in stories & needed a permanent spot on the feed🤩.” Well, she was right, and the video quickly went viral, with everyone loving Violet’s amazement. One person wrote in the comments, “❤️ so expressive! Love seeing her enjoy!” “Christmas magic lives!” said another. The video got so big that Violet and her family were on the news. Helvey spoke with Good Morning America at the time about the surprising attention, saying, “Don’t worry, we’re keeping [Violet] humble.” She then joked, “She asked for caviar and crackers for breakfast this morning, but we gave her the usual omelet and banana instead.” Thanks to Violet, a little more holiday cheer is going around, even two years later!
