The chain announced that peppermint would be the chains first-ever holiday Frosty flavor. “Wendy’s is helping to make the most wonderful time of the year even sweeter by introducing an all-new Peppermint Frosty to enjoy during the holidays,” said Carl Loredo, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company, in a press release. “The Peppermint Frosty is our latest flavor innovation on the iconic Wendy’s Frosty that fans have come to know and love for over 50 years,” added John Li, Vice President of Culinary Innovation for the Wendy’s Company. “It’s the classic thick and creamy Frosty that our fans crave with bursts of fresh peppermint - every sweet bite will put you in the holiday spirit.” The limited-time treat—the third new Frosty Flavor in the past 16 years—will be available nationwide starting Nov. 15. Customers will be able to purchase it at the store and through the mobile app. The Peppermint Frosty joins the classic Chocolate flavor, which was introduced in 1969 when Wendy’s first began operating and remains a staple to this day. The Vanilla Frosty, another fan-favorite, was added in 2006, and the most-recent, the Strawberry Frosty, temporarily replaced it this summer. You can also indulge in seasonal menu goodies from Dunkin’, Starbucks, Shake Shack and IHOP. More News:
